About
The Division of Endocrinology has a 50-year tradition of excellence in basic and clinical research, education, and patient care.
Interdisciplinary research programs are a priority for the Division, and we maintain productive collaborations with researchers and clinicians in a number of departments across UPMC and University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences. We offer a research fellowship program supported by a National Institutes of Health (NIH) training grant and one of the strongest Endocrinology and Metabolism clinical fellowship training programs in the U.S.
Division faculty provide excellent clinical care with inpatient consult services at the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Health Care System, UPMC Presbyterian/Shadyside hospital locations, Magee Womens Hospital, and Falk Endocrinology Clinical on the UPMC Presbyterian campus. Several of our faculty are listed among the “Best Physicians in the U.S.”
