Research Interest
Dr. Lamm's research interests include novel drug delivery for patients with inflammatory bowel disease, new drugs targeting mucosal healing in patients with ulcerative colitis, and advanced endoscopic imaging.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Lamm provides gastroenterology patient care at UPMC Mercy, UPMC St. Margaret, and UPMC Presbyterian. He diagnoses and treats general gastroenterology conditions, motility, and functional bowel disorders. Dr. Lamm is an expert in colorectal cancer prevention and performs endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. He has a special interest in the care of patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Educational Interest
Dr. Lamm trains gastroenterology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.
