Research Interest
Dr. Parekh's current research interests include women's health and disparities in the Medicaid population. Her current research projects focus on cervical cancer screening guideline adherence and racial, regional, and ethnic disparities in health care quality in Pennsylvania Medicaid.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Parekh is clinically interested in care of underserved populations, medically and socioeconomically complex populations, and innovative health care delivery models.
Educational Interest
Dr. Parekh's educational interests include history taking and physical examinations, health policy and advocacy through active learning, and quality improvement.
