Research Interest
Dr. Metzinger’s research interests focus on understanding how internal medicine residents perceive their primary care training during residency and how it affects their choice to pursue a career in general internal medicine versus a medical subspecialty.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Metzinger’s clinical interests include primary care medicine in addition to inpatient general internal medicine.
Educational Interest
Dr. Metzinger’s educational interests include teaching internal medicine residents and medical students in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
