Research Interest
Dr. McGill’s research program aims to (1) examine the impact of sociocultural, environmental, and psychological factors on chronic pain-related outcomes and disparities, (2) identify protective and risk factors for chronic pain-related outcomes, and (3) develop and implement personalized, culturally appropriate psychosocial and multi-level chronic pain interventions. She was recently selected for the NIH/HEAL National K12 Clinical Pain Career Development Program through the University of Michigan.
Clinical Interest
Dr. McGill is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in rehabilitation and pain psychology. Her clinical interest is in cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based interventions for pain management, including for adults with sickle cell disease.
