The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine recognizes the need to increase the number of under-represented members of racial and ethnic groups entering undergraduate and postgraduate education and biomedical research. Our Division supports the recruitment, retention and advancement of individuals from under-represented groups, including women and has been successful in this effort. Clinical and research faculty members are dedicated to recruiting and promoting qualified under-represented minorities who desire training in infectious diseases and related research.
