PancreasFest 2008: July 24, 25 & 26, 2008
The University of Pittsburgh Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition will again host one of the nation’s most innovative pancreas education and research meetings, PancreasFest 2008. Accredited medical professional lectures and workshops will be available on Thursday evening July 24 and Friday morning July 25 concerning Advances in the Diagnosis & Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer. Additional research meetings will be held during the afternoon of July 25 and throughout the day on Saturday July 26.
This program will be held at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute’s Hillman Cancer Center, and overnight accommodations are available at the Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh/Shadyside Hotel. Annual Physician Education Course: November 13 & 14, 2008
The University of Pittsburgh Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition will host its annual fall education update for physicians and medical professionals interested in gastroenterology and hepatology on November 13 & 14, 2008. This program will be held at the Rivers Club in downtown Pittsburgh.
The Thursday evening November 13 program will feature liver diseases. The full-day Friday November 14 program will feature inflammatory bowel disease and upper-GI endoscopy. Special endoscopy workshops are planned.

GI Rounds Online
GI Rounds Online is a unique and highly interactive online physician education course which provides globally accessible, state-of-the-art educational case studies through Internet technology. These programs are designed for the continuing medical education needs of gastroenterologists. Five modules focusing on inflammatory bowel disease diagnosis and treatment are currently available, and new modules are added regularly.
