Research Interest
An Associate Professor, Dr Tadic has remained involved in the study of geriatric urinary incontinence. Formerly supported by an NIA K23 Career Development Award, he is a member of the Geriatric Continence Research team (Drs. Resnick, Griffiths, and Clarkson). Although now more focused in the clinical arena, he continues to play a role in the group’s efforts.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Tadic provides geriatric medicine consultative services along with education of medical residents at UPMC Mercy hospital. In addition, he is leading a multi-disciplinary team effort of Age-Friendly Hospital System transformation project as part of national initiative sponsored by Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). Due to these efforts, in 2021, 'Mercy' hospital has been designated as a committed institution by IHI - first in the UPMC Health System. This project, and, multiple other quality improvement initiatives for improvement care of hospitalized elderly, are part of long standing mission to build a Geriatric Center of Excellence at UPMC Mercy.
