Profile
Dr. Morone is interested in mind-body interventions for chronic pain in older adults, as well as the psychological and emotional dimensions of pain. She recently completed and published a pilot study of mindfulness meditation in older adults with chronic low back pain. As a companion to this study, she performed a qualitative analysis of diary entries of participants that helped shed light on how the therapy may help reduce pain. She takes a holistic approach to patient care in her clinical practice.
