Dr. Jasti is an assistant professor of medicine. His main interests are medical education, curriculum design, residency administration, and patient safety. He has participated in local and national committees and workshops focusing on medical education, and he has also traveled to Hamamatsu, Japan, where he acted as the Pittsburgh clinician-educator representative and participated in various teaching activities involving medical education and clinical topics. Dr. Jasti's projects have included evaluations of work hour limitations of medical residents and the night float system. He is currently working on a patient safety initiative for the residency program.
