Profile
Dr. Brooks is a clinician-educator, based clinically at the Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System. He is active in medical education at all levels. His work includes serving as associate program director and VA site director for the University of Pittsburgh Medicine Residency Program; teaching first-year through fourth-year medical students and coordinating an elective in advanced outpatient medicine for the fourth-year students; and teaching a course on faculty development for postgraduate trainees in the Clinician Educator Training Program. His research interests include perioperative medicine, alcohol abuse, and medical education.
