Profile
Dr. Rollman is a Professor of Medicine, Psychiatry, Biomedical Informatics, and Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He and his research team are highly experienced with conducting state-of-the-art comparative-effectiveness trials for treating mood and anxiety disorders in nonpsychiatric settings. Their research has involved: (1) novel delivery of collaborative care models for treating depression in patients with cardiovascular disease and treating depression and anxiety in primary care settings; (2) incorporation of electronic medical record systems, the Internet, on-line social media, and other technologies; and (3) recruitment of patients from a broad variety of ambulatory and hospital settings across the Pittsburgh region.
