Dr. Abunto is a Clinical Assistant Professor and staff hospitalist in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine. He attended medical school at University of the East before completing his internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He joined the University of Pittsburgh faculty in 2006, working first in the Department of Critical Care Medicine before joining the Section of Hospital Medicine in 2017.
